Habitat

Trevally Fish exist in the deep sea waters of the Indo-Pacific areas, Bay of Bengal, and near surrounding areas of the nearby smaller islands. It is silver, spotted with a few dark dots, and can be easily distinguished. This variety is one of the largest varieties in the species. Spawning goes parallel with the lunar cycles and they reproduce in the summer months. They are known to tolerate lagoon waters and shallow coastal areas where the salinity levels are low.
